Over the past 3 months, Multicultural Partners team successfully delivered “Communicating Across Cultures” training to staff from Sunshine Coast Hospital & Health Service (Community & Preventative Health), Churches of Christ Care, and Range Care.
During the training, concepts such as cultural perceptions, unconscious bias and strategies to communicate with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse clients were discussed. Participants reported that they enjoyed the interactive sessions which included videos and group activities.
