Our support and training has been designed after listening to and consultation with our members. The focus is on making sure participants are set-up to be in the strongest position for the future of their communities.
ECCQ supports organisations to get started, grow and thrive
Having strong community organisations is a key way to strengthen Queensland’s multicultural communities. ECCQ supports Queensland’s community organisations by focusing on capacity building and celebrating successes.

We help community associations and their leaders by providing education, guides, and templates for:
- Governance

Become a member
We’re stronger together. As an ECCQ member you’re helping to make sure multicultural Queensland is celebrated, our voices are heard and our challenges are recognised and addressed. As our network and impact grow, we’re delivering more benefits and access for members.
Be part of a strong, collective voice to government and other decision-makers. We:
- advocate for the needs of multicultural communities and support you to self-advocate,
- connect communities to receive and provide support through networking and capacity building events,
- make submissions on policy issues impacting multicultural communities,
- deliver high-quality, tailored care and supports in aged care and health programs.
We develop resources, deliver educational workshops and offer individual support to multicultural communities across Queensland.
Capacity-building support provides community leaders and committee members with clear information to support their decision-making. We provide guides, templates, resources and assistance with completing processes, reports and documents, as well as overseeing and facilitating Annual General Meetings (AGMs), open meetings and/or community forums.
Popular training among many groups includes support to access funding through strategy, project design, assistance with grant writing and grant management.
Check out our training calendar for upcoming training and workshops.
