Celebrating 50 Years of Vietnamese Refugee Settlement in Queensland
This month, I had the privilege of attending the celebration marking the 50th anniversary of Vietnamese refugee settlement in Queensland, which began with a special Trung Heroines event and an exhibition of artifacts and memorabilia.
The event was a tremendous success, fostering greater understanding between communities and leaving attendees with a strong sense of pride and happiness.
I would like to sincerely thank the Vietnamese Women’s Association of Queensland (VWAQld) for their leadership and dedication in organising such a meaningful and memorable celebration.
