ECCQ is continuing to offer Building Australian Skills for Employment (BASE) traineeships this year.
The program helps unemployed, qualified migrants and university graduates by providing training in workplace skills through the delivery of a Certificate 1 in Workplace Skills and 19 week paid work placement in local Queensland businesses.
Eligibility criteria are:
- Australian citizen living in Queensland;
- Permanent resident of Australia living in Queensland;
- New Zealand citizen permanently residing in Queensland;
- Refugee and Humanitarian Visa Holder living in Queensland; or
- Temporary Visa Holder living in Queensland with the necessary visa and work permits on the pathway to permanent residency.
