Applications now open – State-wide Multicultural Community Health Advisory Committee

Community leaders and community members who would like to make a difference in the health and wellbeing of people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds are invited to apply to join the committee.

The overarching roles of the committee members are:
1. To guide ECCQ’s health programs, where relevant and appropriate in the development and implementation of their short-term and long-term health prevention strategies that will improve the health and wellbeing of people from CALD backgrounds especially people from non-English speaking backgrounds across Queensland.
2. To advise the organisation on their community’s health issues and culturally appropriate and effective approaches to address these issues.

Deadline: Applications will be open until close of business on Friday 14th April 2023. Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend a brief interview.
Timeframe: Committee meetings will commence in May 2023.
Application: Interested individuals can write briefly (maximum one-page) the reasons why they are interested in being part of the committee, and submit together with their resume
