Swim Logan Project

The Swim Logan project has wrapped up after running for the past 2 and a half years. This project educated communities on water safety and provide culturally appropriate swimming lessons across four key Logan pools.

ECCQ Multicultural Health Workers delivered 95 water safety education sessions in language to over 500 people and over 1,000 community members were taught how to swim.

This project was funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, Logan City Council’s Community Services Team led the Swim Logan Alliance with Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland, the Aqua English Project and Aqua Logan.
