Established in 1976, we work with and represent the needs and goals of multicultural communities to promote a socially cohesive, equitable, respectful and multicultural Queensland.
We support people through high-quality aged care services, health and employment programs.
We proactively engage with people from all multicultural backgrounds to listen and amplify the achievements and needs of individuals and communities to decision makers and government bodies.
Our support and training has been designed after listening to and consultation with our members. The focus is on making sure participants are set-up to be in the strongest position for the future of their communities.
ECCQ Community Sector Program supports multicultural community associations to build their capabilities to establish, maintain and run efficient organisations through education and mentoring. Find courses to support you and/or your community organisation excel.
Our Program works with migrants and refugees across Queensland to improve access to Hepatitis, HIV and STI information, testing and treatment services.
The Chronic Disease Program provides flexible, culturally appropriate healthy lifestyle education and resources to support the prevention and self-management of chronic diseases for CALD communities.
We pride ourselves on culturally responsive, service delivery excellence in aged care through Diversicare and Berlasco Court.
We provide friendly, quality in-home supports to help you live the happy and independent life you deserve. We work with our clients and their families to tailor support and make sure they are best suited for each person.
ECCQ’s Berlasco Court Caring Centre, is a fully accredited residential care facility committed to a high standard of nursing care for residents from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. Our new state of the art building supports social connections, social belonging and a strong sense of home.
Every donation goes back to your community. With each donation you help us create more multilingual resources for those in need, deliver more multicultural programs through Queensland and reach more remote communities, create more learning programs for communities, and create better training for Aged Care providers, so the multicultural community members receive the care they deserve.
