This resource is a deck of 20 cards featuring positive and encouraging messages about ageing and accessing aged care services. Designed for older people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, the cards aim to reframe the experience of accessing aged care by highlighting the ways support services can promote health, independence, connection and overall wellbeing.
The cards also celebrate and honour older people, recognising their cultures, life experiences, wisdom and the important roles they continue to play in their families and communities. By promoting positive messages around ageing and support, the resource encourages older people to feel valued, empowered and confident in accessing services that can help them live well and remain connected to the people and communities that matter to them.
