As we approach a significant milestone, ECCQ is proud to celebrate our 50th Anniversary by creating a collaborative artwork that reflects the rich cultural diversity of Queensland.
We warmly invite each member organisation and community group to nominate artists from your community to contribute to this special project.
This artwork will bring together contributions from across our network to form a single, unified piece that showcases the many cultures, traditions, and stories that have shaped Queensland over the past five decades. The final design will be used across a range of ECCQ memorabilia and branding, including scarves, ties, and other commemorative items in the years to come.
This is a unique opportunity for your community to be represented in a lasting legacy piece that celebrates:
- The diversity of cultures across Queensland
- The strength of our multicultural communities
- The contributions of generations of people who have made our state what it is today.
We encourage you to identify artists who can visually represent your community through culturally meaningful symbols, patterns, or storytelling elements as part of this collaborative design. They can contribute:
• A digital artwork component (e.g. motif, symbol, pattern, or visual storytelling element)
• Work that represents a cultural identity or symbol of meeting together or community
• A design that can be merged harmoniously into a larger collaborative piece.

EOI submissions are due by Sunday, 12 July.
