Recruiting members
An incorporated association in QLD must have at least seven members who must be adults i.e. over the age of 18. Members must pay an annual fee. This can be a small amount (e.g. $1) or a larger amount of your choosing.
These can be members of your community or ither people who want to support you. You may decide who can be a member. Some of the things you might want to consider are:
If you decide to limit who may become a member, you need to set this out in your association’s constitution. If you do not do this, the model rules.
